Summer Holiday Food Fundraiser with The Felix Project
The Summer Holidays can be a stressful time of year for families on the poverty line who ordinarily rely on free school meals to help feed their children. With the sudden increases in the cost of living, this summer is likely to be even more difficult.
We are running a fundraising campaign with an organisation called The Felix Project. The Felix Project rescues good-quality, surplus food from the food industry and redistributes this food to those who need it most. They work with almost 1000 front-line charities, primary schools and holiday programmes in London and were a great support to the families of Wellington Primary School who struggled to feed their children during coronavirus.
